Here’s the plain version of what I treat as an emergency tree service call across Green Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh, Black Creek, De Pere, and nearby Northeast Wisconsin — and what can wait for a regular on-site estimate.
CALL NOW (TRUE EMERGENCY)
- A tree or large limb is on a house, garage, or vehicle
- Wood is blocking the only driveway or a safe way out of the property
- Hanging limbs (“widowmakers”) sit over living space or a walkway people still use
- A tree is actively leaning, splitting, or uprooting and could fail soon
- Storm damage left unstable wood that could drop without warning
If power lines or a transformer are involved, call the utility first. Don’t walk up to it. When the line is safe, call or text (920) 873-1936 for the tree work.
CAN WAIT FOR A SCHEDULED VISIT
- The tree looks rough but is still standing, and nothing is in the drop zone
- Deadwood high up with no target underneath right now
- You want a removal or stump grind planned before the next storm season

We talk it through, get on site, give you a clear estimate before we cut, prioritize real hazards, remove the danger, clean the work zone, and you pay when that emergency work is done. Stump grinding and full brush hauling can be added when you’re ready.
